Wikis

I loved the BookLovers wiki http://booklovers.pbwiki.com/Princeton%20Public%20Library
and was amazed at the New Zealand Police Act Review wiki. Other libraries seem to be using wikis successfully in many ways, and to use this on our public interface will show users that we're keeping step with new ways of communicating. Hopefully using wikis will streamline our internal communication processes.

The Information Today article was quite fascinating and reinforced the library's role in developing the information literacy skills of our customers. We have so many rich resources at our fingertips and it's always a pleasure to show them to customers not least because they respond so positively once they see their potential.
